"I had to decide between saving my business and all the effort I'd put into it, or walking away to chase the CT dream," Wilson explained. He moved Rivvia's headquarters to Australia, taking a more hands-on approach to dodge the tariffs. The company shifted its focus to Australia, Japan, and Europe, with hopes of returning to the U.S. market later.
Despite these challenges, Wilson remains committed to surfing. He plans to compete in the Challenger Series finale and enter trials in 2026 for another shot at the CT. Additionally, Wilson has discussed mentoring roles with Surfing Australia, showing his dedication to the sport and its future.
