Time flies, doesn't it? Holbrook Public School recently celebrated a monumental milestone: its 150th anniversary! Imagine all the stories woven into the fabric of that school over a century and a half. One family, the Rosses, embodies this rich history perfectly. Grandparents Russell and Judy Ross, along with their grandson George, a current year 2 student, were all part of the Holbrook Public School legacy. Judy Ross even graced the halls as both a student and a teacher!
At the anniversary celebration on Thursday, November 6th, the air buzzed with memories. Stories, like the one about a classroom snake causing a bit of a stir, were shared, bringing the past to life.
And this is just a glimpse of the rich history. What do you think the future holds for Holbrook Public School? Do you have any fond school memories of your own? Share your thoughts in the comments!
