Latibeaudiere highlights the team's unity as the key ingredient, a sentiment underscored by their recent performance. They battled fiercely to secure a valuable point in a 1-1 draw against Southampton, even after Jay Dasilva received a red card just two minutes into the second half. Latibeaudiere, speaking to BBC CWR, emphasized, "The biggest takeaway for me was how the team stuck together, how we grinded it out, and that feeling of togetherness to take into the next game. I think that's why we are where we are." He credits this to the strong relationships built over the past three years.
He further added, "A lot of us have been together for three years now. We've been knocking on the door a long time. The gaffer has come in and hit the ground running. He's also added a couple of top quality additions who've fitted in straight away. I think we are where are because of the group and how hard we run, how hard we work for each other."

Latibeaudiere's first appearance of the season at St Mary's was a comeback after recovering from bone-bruising sustained during international duty with Jamaica at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in June. This injury kept him out of most of the pre-season. He expressed his relief at being back in action, highlighting the support he received from his teammates.
Adding to the challenge, a flu outbreak in the Coventry camp led to Latibeaudiere partnering with Luke Woolfenden for the first time, who recently joined from Ipswich. They've formed a strong bond despite not always playing together. Latibeaudiere shared, "We've actually become really close because we've not been playing...getting each other through that and doing extra sessions after training really paid off, and I thought we were really good together."
